⛧ You found the secret rant! ⛧

I wasn't very active on "mainstream" social media for a few years, instead, I was participating more on other forums and image boards that are not worth mentioning, and I observed an increasing trend of people becoming whiny little bitches. I didn't know what people liked anymore, what they ever talked about is what they could hate. A bunch of grown-ass men complaining all day long about the skin color of some character on some children's cartoon or some silly remake that they don't realize they are not forced to watch at all. In all of these sites it was just people bitching every day and night, their whole passion and hobbies became that: being triggered by stupid stuff. You want to talk about a show you liked? No room for that, let's hate whatever new thing in production, because that's what is fashionable... anyway, that was my reason for starting this site. So much fantastic stuff around, I wanted to share it all.

I spent some months saving screenshots and videos until I felt like I had enough to start it, making three posts a day every day. At first I was posting in those aforementioned cesspools too, but they were a waste of time, so I just quit those places and left them to their bitterness. The only big social media I was on was Facebook. I planned on posting on Instagram too but at the time there was a problem with the Meta Business Suite and whatever I posted was cropped on Instagram to fit their ratio, so screenshot of movies got butchered - this issue was fixed not much later, but I had already scrapped the idea of using Instagram. I pondered using Twitter, but I was never very fond of it, and from the start I wanted to make a blog as a backup, because I knew a lot would get removed from social media (and I was right), and just programming posts for the blog and Facebook was already time consuming enough, so I also scrapped the idea of using Twitter. The whole thing started for real on 28 August 2022.

I also pondered using Wordpress, but I really don't like their design. They are too focused on modern minimalist boring style, and it took me two hours to figure out how to make a damn side column, instead they want you to have those introduction screens and shit. Blogspot is great, and its costomization also works great - there is a lot of custom HTML and CSS codes in this very blog, although it's a bit of a bummer that I can't share its link on Facebook.

In September 2023 the page was going very well, so I decided to increase the posting rate to four times a day. And as for this blog, until January 2024 it was just what I said before: A backup. Just a black background and grey text. The posts with their tags but no other info whatsoever. Then I stumbled upon some gifs from way back, that took me on a nostalgic trip of Web 1.0 days memory lane, and I decided to work on the blog, making it what it is now. September 2024 I decided to add a Guestbook, a small feature I guess no one is ever going to see, and that perhaps is coming too late, since I already had two years worth of random visitors. Anyway, I don't plan on promoting the blog further. It's just a random corner of the internet that I hope will make some random lost surfer happy.
